Welcome to St Bridget's C of E Primary School
As you are aware we recently had a full Ofsted inspection. The inspection consisted of two days of rigorous lesson observations, data analysis and meetings with pupils, staff, the governors and parents.
To summarise the inspectors judged the school as Outstanding in all areas. This is an improvement on the previous inspection (2008) and the first time the school has been judged as outstanding.
I am extremely proud of this achievement for all the children, staff and families at St. Bridget’s. The outcome of this inspection is down to the hard work and enthusiasm of all the children, teachers, teaching assistants, Governors, office staff, lunch time assistants, all volunteers, cleaners and many other adults who support the school on a regular basis. The inspectors commented on the positive effect of the school motto of “TEAM” and how this enables extremely productive relationships between pupils and staff.
We could not do any of this without the commitment and encouragement of you, the parents. I would like to thank you for your support and reassure you that we will continue to make further improvements to the school, as well as sustaining these high expectations and standards to achieve the best possible outcome for our children.
