Tour of Britain - Stage 5 information

Clarification regarding road closures during next week’s cycling event. 

Between 11:00am and 4:00pm Wednesday 11 September 2019 a number of roads will be closed under a rolling road block for approximately 45 minutes during this time period to ensure the safe passage of the Tour of Britain race. Estimated timings for a number of locations along the route can be found via the link below. This includes timings for different race speeds on the day. Road closures will come into effect approximately 15 minutes before the lead riders.

Where possible access will be maintained for residents and businesses and roads will be re-opened once the last event vehicle passes a given point.
