As part of our whole school topic of ‘Our World’, Year 3 will enjoy a number of different learning opportunities. They will include learning about: Stone Age, Bronze Age and Iron Age, rocks and soils which form our planet, bread from around the world and learning how to dance!
This learning will take place in many forms and use a variety of strategies to achieve our goals. We will enjoy opportunities to learn outside the classroom, including a trip to Liverpool Museum, swimming lessons at West Kirby Concourse and many opportunities to talk and explore. We will also have Hi-Impact coming to our classrooms for a workshop on our science topic. Additionally, throughout the Autumn term, the children will be having a chess session every other week. We will also be enhancing our learning through art and reading to further enrich our curriculum.
