If a class closes due to confirmed case of COVID 19
If a class has to close due to a confirmed case of Coronavirus for a short period of time the learning for all of the children in that class will be switched to online. The class teacher will set maths and literacy work each day and will provide support or feedback via Google Meets twice a day. This work will be supported by the use of Mathletics, Bug Club and Spag.com.
We recognise and appreciate that each of our children’s circumstances during these uncertain times are unique. This is why our timetables are in a ‘suggested’ format and we fully support parental discretion when it comes to completion of the activities and the order in which they are undertaken. Whilst some parents will appreciate a structured timetable approach, others may want to personalise their children's learning further with a more flexible approach. We fully support either.
The health and well-being of our school community is of paramount importance and so we advise that any work undertaken is only to be done so if your child is well.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your continued support and understanding throughout this school closure. Any further news relating to home learning will be clearly communicated through our school website.
